Week 24: Watercolor Baubles

Emily guided a meditation session that took participants to an open grassland. She encouraged them to breathe deeply, observe their surroundings, and feel the gentle breeze and the soft ground. Emily then introduced a rain cloud that shed golden droplets, which they described as healing and cleansing. These droplets were said to soak into the participants' bodies, renewing their spirit and energy. Emily then pointed out that the places the rain cloud touched were blooming with flowers. She concluded the meditation by asking the participants to imagine what their own flowers might symbolize and to return to their current location.

Emily demonstrated a watercolor painting technique, using water to create a unique effect. She shared tips on maneuvering the water around, starting from the center and moving to the edges, and suggested this technique could be used to create a smushy effect on the inside of the painting. Emily emphasized the importance of deep breaths and intentional strokes when painting with watercolors.

Emily demonstrated how to decorate their paper bobbles using various methods such as colored pencils, markers, or paint. She showed different techniques like drawing lines and dots with varying colors. Emily also shared their idea of adding glitter designs to some of the bobbles and suggested using a silver pen for creating a knobby top. She shared her enjoyment and outcome of a craft project, suggesting the possibility of using the crafts as Christmas cards or gift tags.
