Art Class Final Session for March and Future Plans

Drawing Black Eyed Susans Tutorial

Emily demonstrated how to draw Black Eyed Susans or cone flowers. She started by forming a cone shape and then sketching a central flower. She emphasized the importance of having rounded bottoms and pointed edges for the flowers. After drying the drawing, she traced the petals and added a stem. Emily also instructed on how to add line work and details, such as brush marks on each petal, a line down the middle of each petal, and small circles all over the cone for texture.
