an in home party

I had the most amazing time last week at Laurels’ home. She invited a few of her closest friends to make the “Welcome” wooden sign.

Everyone came in with experience levels that ranged from “ I haven’t done art since Jr. High art class” to “ I decorate cookies as a hobby.”

I love the freedom that my clients have to let their own creativity and passions shine through their art work. I gave directions and examples to show them how to create one piece (the first green one is most similiar) and then told them that they could do watever they wanted. I aid each client to the best of my ability no matter if htey follow the examples or if they choose to go rogue.

At the end of this class, one clients - Maria told me : “You brought something out of me that made me feel free.. And I haven’t felt like this in a really long time. Thank you.” hugs
